Casa 0101 and The Roots and Wings Project unite forces for Occupy This! a Poetry Event organized and hosted by artists and activis…ts Jesse Bliss and Josefina Lopez.
The evening is an uprising of artists coming together to speak out against corporatocracy and economic injustice and lend their voices to the global revolution. Inspired by the Occupy Movement, 99 Artists have created new pieces for this event and will speak their individual truth as part of the 99%.
The evening will be live-streamed on the Internet from The New Casa 0101 Theater & Cultural Center in Boyle Heights. Join us as we harness the electric energy and strength of our community and use our undeniable Freedom of Speech that is the birthright of the people of the United States.
