Billy Burgos is hosting Night in the City at the LASt Bookstore tonight.. This is Billy & I catching up at AK Toney’s Wedding last night.. ——————————- This is one of many nights that will engulf L.A. with the spirit of “Noir” during the months of October and November for the Night In The City L.A. Noir in Poetry and Fiction and Film Festival. This event will close out the festival with a special reading of Poets and Storytellers alike. It will take place in the newly restored The Last Bookstore in Downtown L.A. The Host for the evening will be Billy Burgos. There will be a DJ spinning music and a live band to back up writers such as: Rafael F J Alvarado, Carlye Archibeque, Mike the poet Sonsken, Jim Bolt, Mehnaz Turner and Peter Coca.
